I help men find clarity, manage their emotions, and confidently navigate their inner and outer worlds. Through life’s transitions—be it career changes, relationship shifts, or personal development journeys—I support men in uncovering insights, developing emotional resilience, and recalibrating their lives to align with their inner compass.
Who I Work With
Navigating life transitions, such as career changes, relationship shifts, or personal development journeys, can be daunting. Men need guidance and support to connect with their inner compass and confidently move forward. Feeling aimless or disconnected from your purpose is particularly challenging, but we can uncover a sense of mission and direction through dedicated work, fostering a more fulfilling and intentional life.
As a man grappling with imposter syndrome or limiting beliefs, you may often feel overwhelmed and stuck, facing deeply ingrained challenges that leave you feeling frustrated and hopeless. However, with the right support, I believe we can navigate and work through these barriers. By exploring the underlying causes of these feelings, we together can work towards building a stronger, more authentic sense of self.
My Work
I recognize that many men come to therapy with a degree of skepticism. This hesitation is understandable, and I strive to create a safe and empathetic space where clients feel heard and respected. By addressing these concerns openly and honestly, we can build a trusting therapeutic relationship that paves the way for meaningful progress and personal growth.
My approach to therapy is eclectic, drawing from a variety of therapeutic principles to create a personalized experience for each client. I incorporate aspects inspired by Internal Family Systems (IFS), such as parts work, as well as elements of Transpersonal therapy and psychodynamic techniques. This diverse toolkit allows me to tailor my methods to best support the unique needs of each individual.
Who I Am
I am a dual citizen of Peru and the United States, born in Peru and raised in the U.S. Over the past 15 years, I have built a career as an entrepreneur in tech and marketing, serving as both a founder and head of marketing. My journey includes raising venture capital and leading a company through Techstars, one of the most acclaimed startup accelerators. This extensive experience has shown me how easily one’s identity can become entwined with work and the challenges of achieving a balanced life.
I’ve lived around the world, with Medellin, Colombia, and Florianopolis, Brazil being my favorite places. These global experiences have given me a deep appreciation for diverse cultures, which I integrate into my work. I firmly believe in the power of habits, living by the mantra “you are what you repeatedly do.” My morning routine is a cherished part of my day, and I find joy in spending time in nature. I am also deeply passionate about researching psychedelics and their potential in mental health.
In my free time, I love to paddleboard and disconnect by immersing myself in nature. I enjoy spending quality time with my partner and our dog, as well as with friends and family here in Colorado. I am passionate about traveling, exploring new countries, and experiencing diverse cultures and perspectives.
My life philosophy revolves around achieving equanimity, both internally and externally. This balance is essential for personal well-being and is something I strive to incorporate into all aspects of my life and work.
