Tad Lusk, LPC, EMDR Trained, Author, Musician
I offer counseling services to young adults who struggle with feeling depressed and isolated. I help them build confidence and self-worth and regain direction and purpose. If you are sick and tired of feeling discouraged, lonely, and overwhelmed by life, then I’ll help you create a plan for getting your confidence back and genuinely enjoying your life.
My mission is to support people through life’s difficulties and help them gain insight, healing, and wellbeing, especially when it comes to the unique challenges and hang-ups that we men can face in getting help and getting better.
I offer counseling services to young adults in the Denver area and virtually. Clients say they feel safe, relaxed and comfortable sharing with me, and appreciate that I really listen. I have a calm, accepting nature that puts clients at ease. One of my favorite areas of work is helping young adults overcome challenges like depression, anxiety, self-confidence, relationships, and trauma, but I enjoy working with adults of all ages. I pride myself on professional care and doing everything I can to provide an exemplary level of service. When you come to Denver Men’s Therapy, you will have a safe environment to talk about whatever you need to. We’ll work together to set attainable goals, gain meaningful insights, and develop new beliefs to overcome self-defeating patterns. I’m confident that you can experience greater joy and peace – within yourself and your relationships.I’m a licensed professional counselor (LPC), with over five years of diverse professional experience. I earned my Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Denver in 2013, and have since worked in a variety of settings with clients of virtually all ages and backgrounds.
“Tad has been the best counselor I have ever had. I really enjoy the sessions we have…Tad is very quick and helpful with his replies as well. I trust him and know that he is out for my best interest. I would recommend him to a friend in need in a heartbeat.” – Luke U.
People often ask why I got into this work. The answer is actually quite simple: It is a “calling” for me to help others live life to the fullest. I truly believe that each one of us has virtually unlimited potential to do amazing things and express our unique gifts fully in this life. However, the world we live in, and experiences that shape us, can sometimes present hurdles to becoming all we can be. Therefore, I am honored to help men and women overcome those challenges and grow into their best selves.
